If you ride on Nevada roads and think they should be improved to facilitate safer cycling, write a letter to the editor of the RGJ, or a short note to your local representative. Believe it or not, they do care, and they want to hear from the people who pay their salary what issues they should be focusing on. Below is a link to contact information for your city council member and your neighborhood advisory board. The discussion to improve the cyclist’s commute in Reno also needs to be raised in the Reno Gazette Journal, so submit a letter to the editor, but remember, by 200 words they mean 2-0-0- words. 201 and they will edit, and you can bet they will edit out something crucial.
